With a shared passion for inspiring creative expression and individuality around the world, Vans and The Museum of Modern Art collaborate on a footwear and apparel collection highlighting works by celebrated artists from MoMA’s collection. Featured in this collection is JACKSON POLLOCK (American, 1912–1956) who became well-known in the 1940s for his abstract “drip paintings,” which he created by flinging paint with a variety of tools onto a canvas on the floor of his studio. His style of “action painting” became enduringly influential.
